- Spa Breaks – Arrival 10am & Depart 10:30am next day.
- Spa Days – Arrival 10am & Depart 5pm.
- A confidential consultation form will be provided on arrival to complete before any treatment is carried out.
- Please make us aware if there is anything in your medical history that could affect your time with us. This includes any allergies you have.
- Please also make us aware if you or a member of your party is pregnant.
- Please bring along any vouchers you wish to redeem.
- Robes, towels & slippers are provided for our spa experience guests.
- Here at Poppinghole Farm Spa we offer treatments to clients over the age of 18.
- To receive full benefit from your treatments please arrive 15 minutes before scheduled appointment time. If you are late, your treatment may be shortened or even rescheduled, depending on current bookings at the time.
- To cancel any appointment, please contact us 48 hours prior. If you do not do so a charge of 50% may be taken.
- Please keep your voice levels to a minimum to preserve the sense of tranquility throughout the spa and pool areas.
- The therapist reserves the right to stop the treatment at any time if she/he feels that the client’s behaviour is inappropriate.
- Underwear/swimwear must be worn at all times during treatments.
- If you are taking any refreshments into the facilities please make sure you are using the provided pool nonbreakable drink-ware.
- Please dry off before entering the spa and refrain from placing wet swimsuits directly onto any furniture.
- Please shower before and after using the swimming pool.
- Unfortunately children cannot attend your appointment with you, and we cannot provide your treatment(s) while your child/children wait. If you arrive with a child you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. We like all our guests to enjoy their treatment(s) and our facilities fully in a calm and relaxed environment.
- Only alcohol purchased on these premises may be consumed on the premises. Please see our full and excellent range of alcoholic & non alcoholic beverages.
- We are a working farm so you may hear the odd cock-a-doodle doo or horse whinny.
Reservation Terms
Spa Reservations: Day Spa, Spa Days and Spa Breaks
The arrival time for a Spa Day here at Poppinghole Farm is 10am, and ends at 5pm. For half day Spa Days, please see here for times. For our Spa Break guests the arrival time is 10am with a check out time of 10:30am on your departure day. All guests will be provided with a confidential consultation form on arrival to complete before any treatments are carried out. In this consultation form you will need to make us aware of anything in your medical history that could affect your time with us, this will include any allergies you have. Please also make us aware if you or a member of your party is pregnant, this is for the safety of yourself and so we can make all treatments as comfortable as possible for you. For our Spa Experience guests, your cottage will be fully provided with robes, towels and slippers. These can be used if you wish to do so.
We offer treatments to clients over the age of 18. Anyone under the age of 18 may be booked in with parental consent on request. As a courtesy for all our clients and to ensure you enjoy the full benefit of your treatment, please be prompt to your appointment. We advise all clients to arrive at least 15 minutes before scheduled appointment time. If you are late for your appointment, your treatment may be shortened or even rescheduled, depending on current bookings at the time. To cancel any appointments please contact us 48 hours prior. If unable to do so a charge of 50% may be incurred.
If you are taking any beverages into the facilities please make sure you are using the provided pool non-breakable drink-ware. We love for all our clients to enjoy every treatment they receive from us, so we also ask that you please keep your voice levels to a minimum to preserve the sense of tranquility throughout the spa and pool area. To enable all of our guests to enjoy their treatments and use the facilities to their full potential we please ask that you do not bring your children with you. Unfortunately we cannot provide any treatments while your child/children wait. If you arrive with a child you will be asked to reschedule.
We respectfully advise that only alcohol purchased on these premises may be consumed on the premises. Please see our full and excellent range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
A wide range of Gift Vouchers are available to purchase. These include Spa Days, Spa Breaks and a monetary amount for, or towards, a treatment of your choice from the extensive range in our brochure. These vouchers are generally valid for 6 months. Please bring along any vouchers you wish to redeem against any services you have booked in with us. Failure to show your voucher may result in full payment being taken for your experience.
SMOKING
Smoking and vaping is NOT permitted near, in, or around the cottages, spa, farm buildings or other facilities including the swimming pool.
Spa Day and Spa Break cancellations and changes to bookings
The Guest may cancel a booking at any time in writing either by post or email. A cancellation will become effective on the date the cancellation is acknowledged in writing by us.
In the event of a cancellation the following charges will be levied:
- Less than 14 days prior to arrival date – 100% of the full cost of the booking
- 2 – 4 weeks prior to arrival date – 90% of the full cost of the booking
- 4 – 6 weeks prior to arrival date – 75% of full cost.
- More than 6 weeks – 25% of the full cost of booking.
However, Poppinghole Farm reserves the right to cancel at any time due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to acts of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage ,compliance with a law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, snow, storm, difficulty or increased cost in obtaining workers, goods or transport and other circumstances affecting the supply of goods or services and/or for any reason that renders the property unfit for use. We will always attempt to provide you with a suitable alternative. However, if we are unable to provide you with an alternative date we will refund all monies paid to us. Poppinghole Farm will have no further liability to the Guest and/or his Party in respect of such cancellation.
Alteration to Bookings:- For any alteration of a booking there will be an administration charge of £30.00. An alteration of a booking is deemed to be either a change of the Guest or from one date to another. Any amendments to bookings after a price change will be at the revised price. The date of a booking can be only be changed two weeks up to before arrival, you cannot change the date of a booking thereafter.
Cottage reservations
Accommodation is normally available from 5pm on the day of your arrival. The use of spa facilities can be enjoyed from this time as long as you have pre-booked a slot. On your departure day, we ask that you check out of your cottage by 10:30am. Leave your keys on the table and make your way over to Reception to check out with a member of staff.

When arriving on the premises please park in the designated car spaces for spa and cottage guests only. You will then need to report straight to Reception upon arrival so a member of staff can welcome you to your cottage and hand over your keys.
Spa facilities are available to guests over the age of 18. Anyone under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please make us aware if there is anything in your medical history that could affect your stay with us, if you are pregnant we advise speaking with your mid-wife or doctors before using the spa facilities. Please do not use the jacuzzi if you are pregnant or could be pregnant.
To book a time slot to use our facilities you will need to speak to a member of staff over at the Reception. Our reception hours are the following: Monday-Saturday 9:30am-5:30pm, if help is needed outside of these hours please make your way over to The Oast for assistance. (Please see map for location). Our pool opening times for cottage guests are the following: Monday-Saturday 8:00am-10:00am & 5:00pm-8:00pm, Sunday 8:00am-8:00pm, the pool area between 10am and 5pm is only available to Spa Day or Spa Break guests. Availability in the pool may differ due to spa bookings please check with Reception. When using the facilities please make sure you are using the pool non-breakable drink-ware provided when taking in any refreshments. We respectfully advise for the safety of all our guests that no food is taken into the pool area at any point. Please make sure the covers are placed back over the pool when you have finished using it by pressing the button open /close on the wall by the wet room. Make sure you press the button only once. The cover takes some-time to start to move. Also please make sure the jacuzzi covers are on.
All cottages are provided with towels that you are fully welcome to use. If you wish to request a towel change or need more for your stay please ask a member of staff at Reception. During your stay, we please ask that all rubbish you have in your cottage is taken to the bins that are located on the farm. (Please see map for location).
Deposit
If a booking is made 6 weeks or more before, a deposit of 25% of the total cost is payable. Bookings received 6 weeks or less before the Holiday Period is due to start must be paid in full at the point of booking. A Booking shall be confirmed when Poppinghole Farm has acknowledged receipt of the payment.
Payment of the balance is due 6 weeks before your booking date (“The Due Date”) If payment is not received by Poppinghole Farm in full by the Due Date then Poppinghole Farm reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled and the deposit will be forfeit. Poppinghole Farm will not be responsible for sending reminders of the Due Date.
Poppinghole Farm reserves the right to amend prices at any time without notice and to correct any errors or omissions, but changes will be notified to the Guest as soon as possible.

Pets
We love our animals and there are many here to see. But unfortunately we do not allow guests to bring their pets to Poppinghole Farm Spa, cottages or the farm.

The Farm
We are a working farm and sometimes you may experience during your spa treatment the occasional noise of a tractor, the clucking of a chicken or even the baa of the sheep and m-o-o-o of cows. Our pigs are kept in the woodlands too far away to hear!
Please do not visit or feed the animals without asking a member of staff. Shane, our farm manager, oversees all the animals on the Farm and will be happy to help. If you would like to visit or know anything about the animals please ask Shane, she can be usually be found in one of the barns.
If you would like to collect the chicken eggs please call into Reception where they can arrange it for you.
During lambing season there are sometimes lambs to be bottle fed. You are welcome to do this, again, if you call into Reception they will be able to arrange it for you with the farm manager. This is usually during the months of February and March.
